As the great leaders rightly put it, education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. In an ideal world, education would be universal and everyone would have equal opportunities regardless of one’s financial or physical abilities. The reason is simple: when one fails to acquire the basic skills needed to come out as productive, responsible and independent, the society is at a great loss. It affects indiviaf=duals, families and societies at large. The cost of educating children is far outweighed by the cost of not educating them. With equal opportunities and basic skills, we can secure the future of our youngsters. Everyone has capabilities, its only a matter of the right chance and discovery.
Going by this ideology, the NGO Arpa Son Paryavaran Suraksha And Manav Vikas Samiti aims to take small yet significant steps in changing the world to make it a better place. Actively involved in giving benefits to thousands of education and training to poor fellows, we are one of the few NGOs working in the field of education in rural areas. By educating the poor, the disabled and the unfortunate, we give them another chance to get their passport to an independent and better living. Our trained fellows have largely been able to find employments and better lives in various areas.
Functioning under the Mukhyamantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, Arpa Son Paryavaran Suraksha And Manav Vikas Samiti provides more than 800 courses in skill training and vocational training. These courses range a gamut from cattle rearing and nursing to agriculture and stitching. A detailed list of these courses can be found on http://cssda.cg.nic.in/
The skill training is done free of cost at various educational centers of our NGO in the Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh. The duration of the course depends upon specified guidelines by the Mukhyamantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana and ranges from a total of 180 hours to 500 hours over a period of few months. Our courses are designed to give complete training and proficiency to attendees to grow out and find an employment with skills and valid certification. We have trained more than 500 fellows so far with 300 in the year 2017 and the count is ever increasing as we expand our ideas and plans to do this more extensively in remote areas of the state. Moving ahead with the same, we will be training more than 3000 underprivileged students by the year 2018.
